Nike x Space Jam 2 x Converse Campaign
Worlds collide in this collaboration with Nike, Converse, and Space Jam: A New Legacy. We were asked to bring this collab to life in digital, retail, and social platforms. Inspired by the collision of Tune World and real world in the movie, we decided to mash up both into this campaign. We drew from the vintage backdrop illustrations of Maurice Noble to fuse the classic heritage aesthetic with the modern product silhouettes and youthful, confident posing.
The original Space Jam was a cultural icon, a mega mashup of sports and Hollywood, video and illustration, and reality and fantasy. It impacted a generation of sports fans that now have kids of their own, and this new sequel was an opportunity to share that experience with their kids. We wanted to appeal to those fans and show that both generations can rep the Tune Squad together.
