Merge the worlds.

Worlds collide in this collaboration with Nike, Converse, and Space Jam: A New Legacy. We were asked concept, create and produce product and lifestyle assets for digital, retail, and social platforms. Inspired by the collision of Tune World and real world in the movie, we decided to mash up both into this campaign.

The original Space Jam was a cultural icon, a mega mashup of sports and Hollywood, video and illustration, and reality and fantasy. It impacted a generation of sports fans that now have kids of their own, and this new sequel was an opportunity to share that experience with their kids. We wanted to appeal to those fans and show that both generations can rep the Tune Squad together.

We also created custom illustrations for the campaign backgrounds. Continuing with the theme of legacy, we took inspiration from classic mid-century Looney Tunes backdrops by Maurice Noble to fuse the classic heritage aesthetic with the modern product silhouettes and youthful, confident posing.
